WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? - The Cariari B & B is in the small and exculusive area of Cariari just outside of the main city of San Jose, Costa Rica. We are on the southerly side of the Pan American highway about four miles east of the international airport and the Sansa Airline terminal and about the same from the Nature Air facility in Pavas, making us easily accessable from every airport in the San Jose, Costa Rica area.

HOW DO OUR RATES COMPARE TO LOCAL HOTELS?
I will only quote the difference between the Airport Hampton Inn & Suites; when this page was published in 2009 the Cariari Bed and Breakfast was at least $80 a night cheaper than the Airport Hamption Inn & Suites

DO YOU HAVE A PRIVATE SHUTTLE?
Yes, our driver is usually available to meet most flights arriving at Sansa, Nature Air or the International Airport. Our rates our slightly higher than taking one of the airport taxis, but we utilize a full size van, not a mini-sedan, and we can load more suitcases than you can carry and our driver "does" know where the Bed and Breakfast is located, unlike several taxi drivers.

CAN WE ASSIST WITH TOURS?
shuttle bus service, rental cars or any other sevices we may need? YES, just call or send us an email outlining what your needs may be and we will have your plans ready to discuss on arrival.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes, all arriving passenger other than Costa Rica ciitzens or registered residents must have a passport from their country of natural origin. On arrival in Costa Rica you should store the passport and always carry a copy of your passport picture page and a copy of where immigration stamped your passport on arrival.

IS THERE A POOL?
If you are staying in our Cariari Condo, you will have the use of certain Cariari Country Club facilities, including but not limited to the Dining Room, any of the three swimming pools, the golf course (green fees may apply), the indoor and outside tennis court.
